Canada Youth Employment is a job search platform created for students, first-time job seekers, recent graduates, and young people looking to build work experience.
Starting a career often begins with one opportunity. But finding that opportunity can be difficult when you're new to the workforce, still developing your skills, or don't yet have a long work history. Canada Youth Employment was created to make it easier for young people to discover jobs where they can gain experience and move forward.
Our platform brings together job opportunities and practical job-search resources for people at the start of their working lives. From finding a first job or part-time work to exploring opportunities after graduation, we want young people to have a place to discover what is available and learn how to prepare for the hiring process.
We also provide employers with a way to connect with emerging talent—young people who may be early in their careers but are ready to learn, contribute, develop their skills, and gain meaningful workplace experience.
At the heart of Canada Youth Employment is a simple belief: everyone starts somewhere. We want to help create more opportunities for young people to get that start and begin building the experience that can open doors to what comes next.

We believe everyone starts somewhere. A long work history isn't the only thing a young person can bring to the workplace. Education, volunteer experience, school activities, everyday responsibilities, reliability, interests, and a willingness to learn can all demonstrate potential.
That potential can lead to many different starting points. For some, it may be a first part-time or summer job. For others, it may be seasonal work, an opportunity to gain hands-on experience, or the first role related to what they studied after graduation.

Canada Youth Employment brings together jobs for students, first-time job seekers, recent graduates, and young people with limited work experience, helping them discover opportunities to learn, contribute, develop workplace skills, and begin building their employment history.

That’s why we provide practical job-search resources to help young people understand job postings, prepare résumés, prepare for interviews, and approach their job search with greater confidence.
